Truth :: I have a favorite things list.
It is so wonderful to be able to view a list of your favorite things on a day when you are just feeling a little off and need to refocus a bit. More often than not, reading over my list puts me in a better mood. Some days, that is all I do is read the list. Other days, it sets me on a path to go and do one of the things on my list. So…I thought why not start posting some of my favorite things here for you. Maybe they will become your favorite things too. Better yet, maybe some of your favorite things will become mine if you share below.
The first favorite thing I will tell you is that I love to crawl in bed with a cookbook. That to me is a bit of heaven. And, maybe a bit nerdy, but I don’t care. Turning the pages and seeing all the deliciousness gets me thinking about what I want to cook next, food/herb/spice combinations, and ways I can nourish my body in a positive healthy way.
I truly enjoy GP’s It’s All Easy cookbook. Some of my favorites are the cauliflower tabbouleh, zucchini cacio e pepe (ridiculously simple), and two not so guilty pleasures – migas and chicken taquitos. Enjoy!
