Truth :: I keep a favorite things list.
I know, sounds a bit strange, but I promise you that you should keep one too. On the days when I am in a bit of a funk or need some positivity and happiness in my life, I read my list. I love how it can conjure up memories and feelings. Some days, just reading the list puts a smile on my face. Other days, reading the list makes me rush out to do/make/see/listen to something on the list. I thought it would be nice to share some of my favorite things here on occasion. Maybe, they will become some of your favorite things too. Better yet, maybe some of your favorite things will become mine if you share below.
Favorite Thing .01 :: Crawling in bed with a cookbook. Goodness, I love doing this. Yes, it may be a bit nerdy, but that’s just me. I enjoy looking at all the recipes and pictures. I love thinking about what I want to make, food/spice/herb combinations and how I can nourish my body in a healthy way.
I really like GP’s It’s All Easy cookbook. I have had it since it came out and use it regularly. Truly, the recipes are quick and easy… which some days that’s all I have time for. Some of my favorite recipes are the cauliflower tabbouleh, zucchini cacio e pepe (ridiculously simple), chicken piccata, and the not so guilty migas and chicken taquitos.
